Moises was an amazing host for a group cooking class this evening. We had a lot of fun and ate a lot of delicous food made from homegrown produce. We were made to feel very welcome in his home. I would definitely reccomend attending a class if you´re travelling through Sucre.

Wir haben im Casa de Tourismo an der Calle Grau per Zufall den Flyer vom Kochkurs La Boca del Sapo gesehen und spontan gebucht.
Moise ist ein junger Typ der sehr flexibel, engagiert und super freundlich alles in die Wege geleitet hat.
Wir waren nur zu zweit für den Kurs, konnten die Zeit und das Menu (welches wir vorgängig ausführlich per Messenger erhielten) auswählen. Die Location ist nur 3 Blocks von der Plaza entfernt, ein gemütliches Haus, sehr sauber in einem Hinterhof. Moise hat dann alles super gut vorbereitet, sodass wir gerade starten konnten.
Es war nicht nur kochen selbst, sondern auch Spanisch-, Geschichts- und Lebensmittelkurs in einem! Das Essen war mega lecker. Viele Zutaten kamen aus der eigenen Farm (also super organisch)! Klar werden wir das zu Hause auch kochen, denn wir erhielten auch das Menu schriftlich.
Vielleicht sieht es suspekt aus, wenn nur top-Bewertungen vorhanden sind…aber die sind gerechtfertigt! Weiter so!

The cooking class with Moises was an exciting experience! We didn’t know that much about the Bolivian food culture but Moises told us a lot about it. Making the Papas Rellenas was so much fun and we enjoyed using a traditional stone for making a hot chili sauce. Thank you for this experience!

Très bon cours de cuisine avec un Chef vivant et passionné. Si vous aimez la cuisine riche, vous adorerez la cuisine bolivienne. Je vous conseille de faire les papas rellenas. Si vous faites un cours avec Moises vous en garderez un bon souvenir et en plus il vous propose un doggy bag pour emporter les restes. J’en ai eu pour deux jours. Quand on est un backpaker c’est un élément important.

We had a very cool and intersting evening with Moises in his house. We made delocious papas rellenas, had nice snacks and could practice our spanish during talks about Bolivia, Germany, music, sports and so on. Highly recommended! All the best for you, Moises!

The three of us really enjoyed cooking class with Moises! He is a nice guy, explaining a lot about the products and Bolivian culture while chopping up fresh ingredients. The kitchen is super clean and the papas rellanas were delicious!

Ce fut une super expérience!!! Moises est vraiment passionné par la cuisine et nous transmet sesconnaissances dans la joie et la bonne humeur!
Il nous a expliqué differentes choses sur la cuisine traditionelle bolivienne puis nous nous sommesensuite mis à cuisiner.

Superbe expérience culinaire avec le chef Moises !!! Nous avons cuisiné un plat typique Bolivien :papas rellenas (le plat était excellent) sur fond de musique traditionnelle bolivienne. Moises est trèssympa, prend le temps d’expliquer et nous fait découvrir la cuisine bolivienne avec passion ce qui esttrès agréable. En plus de ça nous avons beaucoup appris sur la culture bolivienne, il est très ouvert !Au top !!! On vous le recommande.

A massive thank you to Moises for a fantastic morning of cooking! If you are passing through Sucre Bolivia I would defiantly recommend making a visit to La Boca del Sapo. After a warm welcome to his home, Moises taught myself and 3 travelling friends how to cook a traditional Bolivian meal using some traditional methods. After making a mess of his kitchen we enjoyed our meal and had a wonderful discussion on life in Bolivia. Such a great way to submerge yourself in the culture and try something new.

An excellent way to spend an afternoon in Sucre! Moises was patient and fun, and the food was delicious. Such good value and it was great to experience traditional Bolivian food. Very close to the main square.

Moises es muy simpático, y su clase vale muy la pena! Hemos hecho papas rellenas de queso, carne y huevos. La clase es muy interesante, Moises cojes el tiempo de explicar bien las cosas. El jugo también muy rico! Y el toque final: cocinar con música tradicional boliviana !

Me and my boyfriend did the Papas Rellenas class today and enjoyed it so much. It took place in Moi’s home so it was really relaxed but well organised and we learnt a lot. Moi is a great teacher! We cooked together listening to traditional Bolivian music and then ate the delicious food we made. It was also great practice of our Spanish! 2 hours really well spent. Would highly recommend!

For a fun afternoon, grab a few of your friends and let Moises teach you how to cook a traditional Bolivian feed. He helped us with our Spanish and us, his English, while we made Papas Rellenas – stuffed, deep-fried potato balls, a passion fruit juice and a spicy sauce using a special rock that is like Bolivia’s answer to the mortar and pestle. It was a lovely way to spend a few hours in Sucre.

Amazing amazing cooking evening with Moises. We used a traditional technique with a large stone to make a deliciously spicy sauce to go with the Papas Rellenas that we also made. Moises is a really interesting guy and it was great to learn more about Bolivia / food / music / life from him. Highly highlyrecommend to everyone!!

Had a great couple of lessons with Moises where he helped me with grammar and conversation skills while eating our way through Sucre. It was great to get tips on where to get the best food in the market! We also had a cooking evening with him and Suzy where we learnt how to cook traditional food and practiced our Spanish while doing so Perfect if you are looking to learn Spanish in a relaxed and natural way, you want to practice conversation lots and also learn about Bolivian culture at the same time! der kochkurs mit moises ist definitiv zu empfehlen! wir haben eine wunderbare zeit mit ihm verbringendürfen, er hat uns neben der zubereitung von traditionellem bolivischen essen auch viel über seinland, leute und musik erzählt! moises ist wahnsinnig herzlich, nett und hilfsbereit. für alle, die sich fürdie kultur von bolivien intressieren: unbeding bei moises melden!!!
